Sentiment

Bullish

Positive outlook suggesting rising prices. A bullish indicator or signal suggests upward momentum or positive momentum.

A bullish perspective reflects the expectation that an asset's price will rise due to some combination of improving fundamentals, technical momentum, positive sentiment, or favorable macro conditions. In a technical context, bullish signals include upward-sloping moving averages with price above them, RSI recovering from oversold territory, and MACD crossing above its signal line from below. Being bullish does not require certainty — it reflects a probability-weighted assessment that the risk-to-reward ratio favors the upside. Distinguishing between mildly bullish (slight edge to the upside), moderately bullish (clear trend with favorable conditions), and aggressively bullish (high conviction, strong multiple confirming signals) is important for appropriate position sizing. Sentiment can be independently bullish or bearish from the fundamental or technical picture, which is why the best trading setups often align all three.
